MACHINE OPERATOR NEEDED!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Clean, prepare, and select metal materials
• Use workshop machines to cut and shape metal lengths
• Carry out repairs and maintenance when required
• Set up work on trestles, benches, or on the ground
• Read and follow drawings and specifications
• Shape and bend reinforcing steel (reo) and metal sections using hand tools, machines, or heating and hammering
• Assemble reinforcing frames and metal cages

About the work:

The role is not heavy lifting, but it is repetitive. You may be required to lift items up to approximately 5kg.
